MCBA has been proactive about this issue and has provided an opportunity for builders to voluntarily take part in this educational program that shows their commitment to improving their own businesses as well as the industry in general. Our Certified Builders must be able to provide proof of a minimum of two years construction experience, and provide proof of General Liability Insurance and Worker's Compensation Insurance (where required). MCBA Certified Builders have sucessfully completed the following courses: The Building Requirements of the State Residential Building Code, OSHA 10-hr Safety Training, Contract Law, and Business Ethics. This program is open to Members as well as Non-members.
